Menchie's opens second unit in China

Menchie's at the SAGA Shopping Center in Xi'an will be China's second location in the country, with the first located in Louyang City.

Menchie's announced the opening of it newest store at the SAGA Shopping Center in China, located at 123 Changan Road, Yanta District, Xi'an, China.

To celebrate the opening, Menchie's hosted a seven-day grand opening celebration this week, featuring giveaways including Menchie's merchandise, family-friendly activities and free servings of frozen yogurt.

"Menchie's is dedicated to expanding our international reach and sharing the Menchie's experience with communities overseas," said CEO Amit Kleinberger in a company press release. "Through diligent research and catering to international palates by offering toppings such as lychee and dragon fruit, we have been able to connect with a diverse audience and establish ourselves as a leader in the global frozen yogurt marketplace with 127 international stores in 13 countries."

Menchie's SAGA Shopping Center will be China's second location in the country, with the first located in Louyang City. Menchie's has 475 locations worldwide.
