Meatheads hires first director of operations

Meatheads has hired Jason Harbison as director of operations, according to a company press release. Harbison has more than 25 years experience in operations in the restaurant industry. He was most recently senior director of operations at Applebee's. Prior to that, he spent more than a decade as director of operations at the Wisconsin Hospitality Group and a decade as director of operations at Pizza Hut.

This is a newly created position, and although Harbison will be based out of the Meatheads' downtown Chicago office, he will spend the majority of his time traveling to all 11 Meatheads locations in Illinois. He will be tasked with ensuring all operational items are systematically companywide, said Tom Jednorowicz, CEO/Founder of Meatheads.

"Jason is the perfect cultural fit," Jednorowicz said. "His people skills, technical expertise and operational discipline and attention to detail will help Meatheads continue to expand while maintaining consistently high standards.
