McSubway Study finds Subway food is not that healthy
October 19, 2006
The Star: A new study shows that Subway is not as healthy as it claims to be. The new research — labeled the "McSubway Study" — was based on exit interviews of 500 fast-food patrons in the U.S Midwest, half from McDonald's outlets and half from Subway.
"People from Subway recalled a lot more nutritional information than people from McDonald's because there wasn't really much nutritional information to recall from McDonald's," Cornell University researcher Brian Wansink told more than 2,000 delegates to the association's 10th annual convention in Toronto.
