McAlister's Deli wants 'Sweet Teas' to win baseball team naming contest

Atlanta's Triple-A baseball affiliate is looking for a name, and Famous Sweet Tea-selling McAlister's Deli wants everyone to vote for "Sweet Teas," according to a press release.

"Looking at the current finalists, there is no contest. Sweet Teas has to be the name of the Atlanta minor league baseball team," Robert Dimson, VP of marketing at McAlister's Deli, said in the release. "McAlister's Deli originated in Mississippi and is headquartered in Atlanta. The team's Double-A affiliate has roots in Mississippi with the Triple-A team based in Atlanta. Coincidence? I think not."

The other choices include Buttons, Big Mouths, Hush Puppies and Gobblers. The contest ends July 24, according to the release.
