McAlister's Deli to give away sweet tea

RIDGELAND, Miss. —McAlister's Corp. is declaring July 23 "Free Tea Day" and will give away sweet tea all day at participating McAlister's Deli restaurants nationwide, the company has announced. Customers who visit McAlister's Deli restaurants on "Free Tea Day" will be offered a free, 32-ounce cup of McAlister's Famous Sweet Tea, no purchase necessary.

McAlister's sweet tea fans also will be able to take part in "Free Tea Day" in a fun and interactive way.

Beginning July 15, viral videos will be released weekly to Web sites such as Facebook and YouTube to promote "Free Tea Day." After the July 23 event, a subsequent online campaign will begin for four weeks, entitled "Sweeten Up."
