Maui Wowi Hawaiian is opening a new location inside the food court at The Shops at Willow Bend in the Dallas suburb of Plano, Texas. The new location, owned by franchisee Ted Wilbert, is the first in a plan of many and is slated to open this fall, according to a news release.
Wilbert was awarded an Empire Builder franchise agreement with Maui Wowi, giving him the rights to own up to 10 units.
Seasonal Orchard Peach smoothies are back
Additionally, Maui Wowi Hawaiian has brought back its Orchard Peach smoothie for a limited time. It is made with peach fruit purée, live active yogurt and a banana.
“The Orchard Peach smoothie has become so popular and gives everyone another reason to look forward to summer,” CEO Mike Weinberger said in a news release.
