Maui Wowi debuts Midnight Kona coffee

Maui Wowi Hawaiian locations are adding Midnight Kona, a premium dark roast coffee, to the menu this summer for a limited time.

Maui Wowi Hawaiian locations are adding Midnight Kona, a premium dark roast coffee, to the  menu this summer for a limited time. Beginning June 15, the coffee will brew at participating Maui Wowi Hawaiian stores, kiosks and mobile units while supplies last, according to a company press release.

Midnight Kona is a blend of Costa Rican and Kona coffee beans that presents a balanced flavor with a rich, heavy body that is countered with subtle hints of coriander and cinnamon, said Mike Weinberger, CEO of Maui Wowi.

“Our system wanted to put a new spin on our summer offerings this year,” Weinberger said. “This is a time of year where most coffees go blonde, but Maui Wowi wanted to turn heads with a delicious, rich, dark roast instead. I’m confident customers will enjoy Midnight Kona, whether it’s prepared iced or hot because this quality blend is something that is truly worth tasting.  ”
