Mason's Famous Lobster Rolls, a brick-and-mortar lobster chain, opened its first food truck. Based in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, the truck will travel to events in Sussex County, Delaware and Ocean City, Maryland, according to a press release.

Mason's plans to use the food truck to reach new communities with its Maine and Connecticut-style lobster rolls, as well as lobster bisque, New England clam chowder and warm crab rolls.

"Mason's has been welcomed into cities across the country through our brick-and-mortar locations, but we're excited to be using food trucks, starting on Delaware's Eastern Shore, to introduce the brand to new communities—building brand awareness and franchise demand," Dan Beck, founder of Mason's, said in the release. "This evolution will complement our traditional stores by helping us identify new opportunities for growth with added flexibility."

The brand has 35 locations in the United States, with three opening in Italy and 20 in the Middle East.
