November 27, 2007

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo. — Mad Greens Inspired Eats has opened its seventh location, which is in Greenwood Village, Colo., the company has announced.

The newest location features an updated menu and a freshly designed salad after Colorado's "Mad" soul, the unsinkable Molly Brown. The Mad Molly Brown salad includes another new addition for Mad Greens, roasted pork loin, along with fresh spinach, mozzarella, tomatoes, grilled sweet onions and green onions.

"We're excited about the new location and the array of new menu offerings," said Marley Hodgson, co-founder of Mad Greens Inspired Eats. "As we grow, we are responding to the requests of our customers."

At 1,800 square feet, the new restaurant seats almost 35, with 40 remaining seats on an adjoining patio. Grand-opening festivities include a "Free Salad Day," from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 29, 2007. All Mad-designed salads will be free for all customers. Additionally, Mad Greens has introduced environmentally friendly bowls for in-house dining andis part of a pilot program with Nestlé's to launch its newest beverage, Sjora. Sjora is a healthy non-carbonated fountain beverage alternative to soda.

Mad Greens is led by owners Marley Hodgson and Dan Long. Locations include six restaurants in the Denver area, one in Boulder and a Fort Collins location opening in early 2008. In November 2006, it expanded its concept to include a boutique wine and cheese bar at its Denver Art Museum location.
