Despite its recent sale of six Florida units to Rubio's Restaurants, Lime Fresh Mexican Grill will expand its presence in South Florida when two existing franchise groups each develop three to five restaurants in their respective markets. The openings will result in six to 10 restaurants in South Florida over the next five years, according to a company press release
"The Lime Fresh brand truly resonates with the residents and visitors of South Florida and we're thrilled to expand the concept to offer additional, convenient locations to enjoy our fresh Mexican food in a lively, fun environment that keeps guests coming back," said Franchisee Grant Gussin, president of Left Field Holdings LLC, which owns three units. "We see great opportunity for the Lime Fresh brand and look forward to opening the doors to more locations in South Florida over the next five years."
Salsa Management Inc, run by Nick Boros and David Pettit, owns three units and is also excited to expand the brand.
"Not only do we have a passionate group of team members, but we have created a strong relationship with our community and guests who love our burritos, tacos, quesadillas, fajitas and other offerings in our welcoming restaurant with upbeat music, a positive vibe and large outdoor patios," said Boros. "We look forward to adding new employees to the Lime Fresh family and growing this great brand."
As of press time, Lime Fresh did not respond to FastCasual's inquiry regarding the sale of its units to Rubio's.
