La Salsa opens in Houston airport

February 8, 2010

La Salsa Fresh Mexican Grillannounced in a statement the opening of its first Houston restaurant, located inside Terminal C South, at the George Bush International Airport.

Designed with a multicolored interior and brightly lit neon signage, the new restaurant features authentic, made-to-order Mexican food, margaritas and imported beers, and an assortment of freshly prepared salsas, in an express format perfect for busy travelers on the go.

The 570-square-foot restaurant is owned and operated by 20-year industry veteran Niki Smith Evans, who also owns and operates other concepts in the Houston area.

"The La Salsa Pronto now open in the Houston Airport is an excellent example of the company's effort to expand in unconventional markets. We anticipate great success at this location and look forward to our partnership with Niki Smith Evans and her team," La Salsa president Charles Rink said in a news release.
