La Salsa Fresh opens 100th location

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. — La Salsa Fresh Mexican Grill is celebrating the grand opening of its 15th San Diego location, also marking the chain's 100th store overall.

As part of the grand-opening celebration, and to honor members of the U.S. armed services, La Salsa will give away a complimentary Taco La Salsa on Nov. 23, 2007, to all military personnel and their families with valid military IDs at the new restaurant location in Liberty Station Marketplace.

The 2,100-square-foot location can seat up to 100 guests with its indoor and outdoor seating areas. Additionally, the restaurant boasts large-screen TVs that will televise all San Diego Chargers football games.

The salsa bar will feature seven freshly prepared salsa varieties: mango, avocado, chile de arbol, habanero, buena, mexicana and roasted tomato. Menu items range in price from $3.99 to $7.99. A children's menu and vegetarian items are available.

The restaurant is operated by R&R Enterprises, La Salsa franchisees since 1988.
