La Salsa, Baja Fresh name franchisees of '07

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. — La Salsa Mexican Grill has named Odette Valles as La Salsa Franchisee of the Year for 2007.
Valles was the first La Salsa franchisee and signed on to open her first location in 1988. She owns and operates, with her partners, four La Salsa locations in the greater San Diego area.
Baja Fresh Mexican Grill announced it has honored Ed Casey as the Baja Fresh Franchisee of the Year for 2007. Casey owns and operates 22 Baja Fresh locations throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Both La Salsa Mexican Grill and Baja Fresh are owned by a consortium of investment groups led by David Kim.
