La Madeleine opens 1st North Carolina location

La Madeleine, a french café franchise, is opening on July 12 at 1115 Walnut Street in Cary, North Carolina.

The restaurant space will be 7,400 square feet and feature an outdoor patio and party space.

"Our cafe is going to fit in perfectly as a gathering place for friends and families to enjoy country french cuisine in a laid-back and relaxing environment," stated President John Cahill in a release.

This is the first of two projected locations in North Carolina slated to open this summer. Both will be owned by R. Hakim Corp, a franchise ownership group comprised of experienced restaurateurs and current La Madeleine franchise owners.

Additionally, R. Hakim Corp. is also planning to open nine more cafes throughout Georgia, with its most recent opening in Buford taking place two months ago.
