Korilla BBQ parks it at new storefront location

Korilla BBQ, which got its start as a food truck, also plans to launch three additional stores in the Upper East Side, Financial District, and Brooklyn.

Food truck Korilla BBQ announced the opening of its first storefront at 23 Third Ave just off St. Mark's Place in New York City.

The storefront features a tiger-striped Sky High Mural by Colossal Media that spans across the entire front facade of the building.

Founded by Columbia University graduate Eddie Song, Korilla BBQ grew from its New York City food truck roots to becoming a nationally recognized brand with its participation in the Food Network's "The Great Food Truck Race."

Korilla plans to launch three additional stores in the Upper East Side, Financial District and Brooklyn, according to a news release.
