Juice It Up! squeezes into nontraditional units

Juice It Up! raw juice and smoothie concept has announced its ninth nontraditional unit, located inside an LA Fitness facility in Arlington, Texas. This is the second store for franchisees Moe Al-Sharif and Kevin Johnson of Cure Health Care LLC.

"We are catering to guests who are dedicated to a healthy lifestyle and are looking for 'food-as-fuel' while on the go … After exceeding sales expectations in our first gym location, we were eager to open our second Juice It Up! in a fitness center while continuing to grow with the brand," said franchisee Moe Al-Sharif.

Recently, the concept launched the "smoothie bowl," a smoothie topped with granola, honey and bananas.
