Juice It Up! customers receiving Açaí freebies

Throughout the month of April, guests may participate in an Instagram photo contest for a chance to win free Açaí Bowls.

Juice It Up! is teaming up with Sambazon, the pioneer of açaí, to celebrate April açaí awareness month by giving away nearly 2,600 free Açaí Bowls, according to a company press release.

Throughout the month guests can participate in Juice It Up!’s Instagram photo contest for a chance to win. One participant from all 84 Juice It Up! locations will win free Açaí Bowls every day from May 2 to May 31, according to a company press release.

Açaí has long been viewed as one of the most nutritionally dense superfoods on the planet and highly regarded for its remarkable levels of antioxidants and healthy omega fats. The Ultimate Açaí Bowl and the Ultimate Berry Bowl are two of Juice it Up!'s most popular menu items, according to the release.

"We're thrilled to dedicate the entire month of April to promoting the amazing health benefits of açaí while having some fun with our guests by giving away a ton of free Açaí Bowls," said Frank Easterbrook, Juice It Up! president and CEO. "Not only is açaí a powerful ingredient, it tastes amazing too; making our Açaí Bowls an ideal meal replacement helping to fuel the healthy, active lifestyles of our guests. To enter the contest, customers can purchase an Açaí Bowl, follow @JuiceItUp and@Sambazon on Instagram, and post a photo of the bowl with the store number hashtag, which can be found on each receipt.
