Jersey Mike's Subs launches first Long Island location

Jersey Mike's Subs is opening its first Long Island location, on September 14, in Commack, New York.

The location is owned by Susan Daly and Nikki Gongola, and operated by John Walsh.

Jersey Mike's plans to continue expansion in surrounding Uniondale and Freeport areas this year, as part of a Long Island and Staten Island expansion plan. 

The concept was recently recognized as number five in the 25 Best Fast-Food Chains in America.
