Jamba Inc today announced it will give away free samples of its recently-launched, made-to-order juices blended with whole foods at stores nationwide on Aug. 6 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The sampling event is intended to drive consumer awareness of the Jamba’s new juice platform, now available in more than 500 stores. Jamba reported through the first quarter of 2014 a 3-4-percent sales lift in stores offering the freshly squeezed juice.
“We are taking the current coastal juicing trend and scaling it nationally”, CEO James D. White said in a company press release. “Our freshly squeezed juice offers consumers interested in juicing with a convenient, affordable and great-tasting way to get their daily juice, and Jamba is taking the lead in making it available and affordable for consumers across the country."
The offer will not be available at Jamba Juice locations in Hawaii, Safeway, Vons, Pavilions, Disney, Las Vegas Strip, Airport or select University Jamba Juice locations.
Customers who come into Jamba stores during the event will receive a bounce-back coupon containing coupons offering $1 off their next juice purchase. For each juice purchased on a return visit, Jamba will donate $1 to support school gardens through its relationship with the National Gardening Association’s Kids Gardening program.
Jamba launched the freshly squeezed juice platform in select stores in May 2013 and continues to expand into additional stores. Jamba expects the new platform to be available across the system by early 2015.
