Jamba Juice Company has selected Spendgo to power the national launch of its new loyalty program. Having completed a successful test of the Spendgo solution in more than 30 locations, the program, "My Fruitful Rewards," will launch in Q1 2014, allowing guests to register and earn rewards by typing their phone number into a touchscreen at the point of sale, according to a company press release.
Using the latest in Web, mobile and touchscreen technology, Jamba Juice guests register for My Fruitful Rewards at the store or online and immediately begin earning on all beverage and food purchases. Once the customer has earned enough points for a reward, they are messaged in real-time at the point of sale with the option to use their award then or save it for a future visit.
Spendgo's solution provides several key pieces of functionality to Jamba's loyalty solution, including ease of registering, enabling custom rewards based on individual purchase behavior, and the ability to segment and derive insights for future programs, said Ivan Matkovic, CEO of Spendgo.
"My Fruitful Rewards is the type of program Spendgo was created for," Matkovic said. "Jamba's guests are valued customers, and with the Spendgo solution, they can be rewarded in a fast, intuitive way as they make Jamba Juice a greater part of their everyday life."
While there are a wide variety of companies that claim to offer a loyalty solution, none could offer the combination of integration ease, line-item awarding, behavioral targeting, and powerful customer engagement that Spendgo does, said Julie S. Washington, Jamba Juice senior vice president and chief brand officer.
"Spendgo and Jamba Juice will continue the program development, adding a variety of fun and engaging rewards throughout the year, allowing bonuses on a wide variety of menu items," she said.
