Jamba Juice Company is celebrating National Oatmeal Day by offering customers a bowl of Jamba Steel-Cut Oatmeal for $2 from now through Nov. 3. Jamba Juice is also bringing back its Berry Cherry Pecan Oatmeal, which is now available in participating stores for a limited time.
"Oatmeal is a great way to start the morning because it possesses a number of key health benefits," said Jamba Healthy Living Council member Elizabeth M. Ward. "In addition to being an excellent source of fiber that helps to stave off hunger and cravings during the day, oatmeal is a whole grain food that provides a good source of protein and iron."
All of Jamba's steel-cut oatmeal offerings, including the LTO Berry Cherry Pecan Oatmeal, are made with 100 percent organic, whole grain steel-cut oats that are slow cooked with soy milk and finished with fruit toppings. The Berry Cherry Pecan Oatmeal consists of slow cooked organic steel-cut oats topped with dried fruit, glazed pecans and brown sugar crumble.
"We are delighted to bring back our Berry Cherry Pecan Oatmeal to celebrate National Oatmeal Day and help spread awareness for the important health benefits of oats and whole grains," said Julie S. Washington, senior vice president and chief brand officer for the Jamba Juice Company. "As a leader in supporting healthy, active living for more than 20 years, Jamba Juice strives to keep nutrition fun and fresh by providing our customers with seasonal, better-for-you options to help maintain healthy habits during the tempting holiday season."
