Ena's Jerkmania, an Ohio-based fast casual restaurant serving Jamaican food, has added a curry chicken rice bowl to its menu, a mild alternative to the extremely spicy jerk dishes usually served there, according to a company press release.
Jamaican curry is typically a mix of coriander, cumin, chilies and allspice but uses many different meats including chicken, goat, pork and seafood. Curried dishes feature a meat tossed in a gravy-like sauce served over a starch, usually rice, bread or taro root.
Ena's Jerkmania's chicken curry rice bowl is chicken covered in curry sauce, served over rice. The bowl is now available for $6.25.
