HuHot launching 'quicker' NuHu Mongolian Express concept

Customers can build their own bowl or choose menu items, with prices ranging from $6.99 to $8.99.

January 22, 2015

HuHot Mongolian Grills is launching a "quicker" take on its Asian grill concept. NuHu Mongolian Express will open at 1147 Broadway in Denver on Feb. 12.

Customers can customize their own stir fry bowls by selecting from fresh proteins, vegetables, rice, noodles and/or gluten-free sauces, or choose from menu items. Selections are grilled to order. Customers can also top off bowls from a toppings bar, and grilled-to-order Roti Flatbread is served with each bowl.

Bowls can be ordered in small or regular sizes and range in price from $6.99 to $8.99.

"With our restaurant support center located in Denver, we are excited to introduce the first NuHu restaurant to the people who live in our own community," said Jeff Martin, chief operations officer of NuHu and HuHot. "The goal of NuHu is to provide the Mongolian Grill experience to our guests in a quick format for lunch and dinner. We are taking fresh to the next level by allowing our guests to pick their ingredients and watch their stir fry being made right in front of them - so their meal never leaves their sight."

Situated on Broadway on the edge of downtown Denver near the museum district, the interior will feature fiery red accents amid brick and earth-tones as well as Asian-inspired mural art.

NuHu will be open for lunch and dinner from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week. The restaurant will serve wine, local beer, and will utilize a Coca-Cola Freestyle for soft drinks. NuHu will also offer catering.
