Happi House tests gourmet Asian salads
September 8, 2008
SAN JOSE, Calif. — Happi House Restaurants has announced the company is test-marketing three new Asian style entrée salads. The addition of the entrée salads is just one of numerous changes for the 32-year-old teriyaki fast casual concept, which is preparing its system for a return to franchising later this year.
The salads will be offered in two Bay Area locations as part of an overall brand-expansion strategy, according to a news release. The three new salads include the Crunchy Thai Chicken Salad and Grilled Salmon Salad. The chain expects to roll out the salads to the rest of its locations after an eight-week test and evaluation period has been completed.
