Gusto POS rebrands to Qu

September 28, 2018

Gusto POS has rebranded to Qu and has a new logo, positioning and website focused on delivering an enterprise-scale, omnichannel POS platform to the restaurant sector, a news release said.

While the Qu name is new to the market, the company has worked as an advanced POS technology for the last six years, enabling millions of U.S. transactions.

"Rebranding as Qu builds upon our success and reflects our unwavering commitment to 'quick' —from how we serve our clients to how they serve their guests," CEO Amir Hudda said in the release. "With its inherent flexibility, Qu is uniquely qualified to give restaurateurs the tools they need to move faster, stay nimble, and increase profits."

Qu delivers an API-first approach and an omnichannel ordering solution that allows orders to be taken anywhere and anytime, Hudda  said. He called it a gesture-based, conversational ordering design that uses cloud-deployed architecture that works even when internet connection fails.

As Qu moves forward, it will continue its focused approach to developing solutions that are best suited to the needs of QSR and fast casual chains, Hudda said.
