November 17, 2015

Grimaldi's Pizzeria announced it will open its first restaurant in Tennessee in the Saddle Creek outdoor lifestyle center of Germantown in the Memphis area. The new location will serve coal-fired brick-oven pizzas, calzones, salads and desserts, according to a company press release.

"Fans have long been asking for our expansion to Tennessee, and the response to our announcement has come with a great deal of excitement," said Joey Ciolli, president and CEO of Grimaldi's Pizzeria. "We look forward to serving outstanding food, delivering impeccable service and making a positive contribution to the Germantown community, for many years to come."

The 3,519-square-foot restaurant will feature both indoor and al fresco dining in a family-friendly atmosphere that is classically upscale yet casual, the release stated. Grimaldi's décor includes red-checkered tablecloths, brick and dark wood accents, chandeliers created from wine bottles, and a glass-encased presentation kitchen that allows guests to see the step-by-step creation of each made-to-order pizza.

Grimaldi's Pizzeria has 39 restaurants across the United States. The company has new restaurants in development in Overland Park, Kansas and Stone Oaks, Texas.
