Restaurant patrons wanting insight on top meals, or reviews and ratings, can now use the Google Lens, a visual search and computer vision tool.
The Google Lens, an image recognition tool, lets diners access the content by pointing their smartphone camera at a menu, according to a Venture Beat report.
Future functionality, according to the report, will include calculating or splitting a meal tip by pointing a camera at a receipt, as well as translating signs and text for those who can't read or don't understand the print language used.
The Lens is now a provided feature in several smartphones, including Sony devices.
