Godiva is opening the first of 2,000 food cafes that the chocolate brand plans to have up and running in the next six years.
The cafes, according to an AP news report, will offer a wide ranging menu featuring unique offerings such as a croiffle (a waffle/croissant meld) as well as a long list of new teas and coffee options.The Belgium chocolate giant will also offer prepared meals.
The first café opens tomorrow in Manhattan, New York. The café strategy, according to the report, is part of the brand's goal to boost revenue fivefold by 2025. The café locations will be a mix of current Godiva locations as well as new stores in retail shopping areas and airports.
