Go Roma Italian Kitchen opens first Indiana store

MERRILLVILLE, Ind. — Forklift Brands announced the opening of Go Roma Italian Kitchen in Merrillville, Ind., on Nov. 21.

 

The store will be the sixth Go Roma Italian Kitchen.

 

"We are very excited to bring Go Roma, our Chicago-based restaurant, to the people of Indiana," said Yorgo Koutsogiorgas, president and co-founder of Go Roma. "We already have five locations in Illinois and in those communities people have really embraced Go Roma. They enjoy our food, which is made from scratch and served in a hospitable fast-casual setting. It's also a great choice for carry out or catering, and because we're extremely accommodating and deliver everything quickly, our guests feel like they have control of their dining experience. Our goal is to set a new standard of excellence for delicious fast casual Italian dining."

 

Go Roma Italian Kitchen was created by restaurant veterans David Wolfgram, Jeff Drake, Russell Bry and Yorgo Koutsogiorgas, who worked together for years at Chicago-based Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises. The men shared a passion for great Italian food, and committed themselves to providing delicious Italian food in a quick, casual setting to meet the needs and tastes of time-pressed, budget-minded, health-conscious food lovers.
