Go Roma Italian Kitchen opens first Indiana location

MERRILLVILLE, Ind. — Go Roma Italian Kitchen, owned by Forklift Brands, opened its first Indiana store Nov. 21.

 

"We are very excited to bring Go Roma, our Chicago-based restaurant, to the people of Indiana," said Yorgo Koutsogiorgas, president and co-founder of Go Roma.  "Our goal is to set a new standard of excellence for delicious fast-casual Italian dining."

 

Go Roma Italian Kitchen was created by restaurant veterans David Wolfgram, Jeff Drake, Russell Bry and Yorgo Koutsogiorgas, who worked together for years at Chicago-based Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises. 

 

The new location in Merrillville, Ind., will be managed by Tom Fife, a longtime resident of Lake County who worked with the Go Roma team at Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises.
