Genghis Grill sponsors 'Build Your Own Bowl' contest

The contest will reward three contestants with free Genghis Grill for a year in recognition of their original creations.

Genghis Grill announced today the start of its Build Your Own Bowl Video Contest, which will reward three contestants with free Genghis Grill for a year in recognition of their original creations. Out of these, one grand champion will have his or her personalized bowl featured on Genghis Grill’s menu as a Chef-Made Bowl for six weeks.  

“Our build-your-own-bowl concept has always allowed our fans to choose their dining destiny by customizing their stir-fry meal with their favorite ingredients,” said Jax Sperling, director of Culinary R&D, in a company press release. “But many of our fans prefer our chef-made signature bowls, which offer expertly crafted combinations. Now we’re inviting all Genghis Grill aficionados to play master chef by sharing their own signature recipes with the rest of us. I can’t wait to see what they come up with.”

Submissions are being accepted now through Nov. 16. Videos may be no longer than five minutes and can be submitted through Genghis Grill’s Facebook page. Voting will take place Nov. 20-30, and the grand prizewinner will be announced on Dec. 1.

The Chef-Made Bowl (which will be named by its creator) will be available at all Genghis Grill locations between Dec. 15 and Jan. 26.
