Genghis Grill promo to track 54 contestants

Genghis Grill’s Health Kwest campaign will track the journey of 54 contestants vying to win $10,000.

The contest, launched in January, challenges restaurant guests to dedicate themselves to health and fitness for three months by eating Genghis Grill's healthier meal options daily.

The contestants will share their journey online by blogging about their day-to-day progress, while also utilizing Facebook and Twitter to gain social media popularity. The public will be able to follow each player’s journey at www.gghealthkwest.com, where they will be able to vote for their favorite. Based on the percentage of weight loss, amount of social activity and most public votes, the winner will receive $10,000.

For the contest, Genghis Grill partnered with Medical City Hospital, a nationally accredited hospital based in Dallas. Genghis Grill and Medical City have partnered for several years to bring Genghis Grill fans quarterly heart healthy bowl recipe options.

Medical City Hospital has provided each contestant a dietician-recommended diet and exercise plan for the Health Kwest campaign. Medical City will further assist in analyzing monthly test results during the campaign, which will be a big part in monitoring the contestant’s progress and help choose a winner. Quest Diagnostics and Medical City Hospital will aid in the tracking of results.
