Denver-based Garbanzo Mediterranean Grill has announced its expansion into the chain’s third Colorado market: Boulder. The 13th Garbanzo location will open Dec. 22 at the 29th Street Mall and joins 10 other Denver-metro locations as well two Colorado Springs locations.
“We are especially thrilled to open a Garbanzo in Boulder and introduce our fresh, healthy and authentic concept to this distinctive community,” said Alon Mor, Garbanzo founder. “The people of Boulder are uniquely wellness-minded and responsive to restaurants that provide healthy menu items. We know Garbanzo will be right at home in the heart of Boulder.”
On grand opening day, the first 100 guests will receive a free Garbanzo tote, and all guests will be able to give the prize wheel a spin to win other Garbanzo items.
The new Boulder location will partner with Share Our Strength, a nonprofit focused on ending child hunger in the United States, specifically in Colorado. Fundraising efforts will directly support the nonprofit’s Boulder community Cooking Matters program, which teaches underprivileged families and children how to cook and eat healthy.
