Garbanzo Mediterranean Grill has opened its newest location in Denver's University Hills area, marking the chain's 11th location. The new Garbanzo restaurant joins nine other Denver-metro locations, as well as one in Colorado Springs.
Committed to community involvement, Garbanzo is partnering with the National Sports Center for the Disabled (NSCD) for a pre-opening fundraising event August 31 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the University Hills restaurant. A $5 donation is recommended, and all donation proceeds will be given to the NSCD, a Denver-headquartered nonprofit that provides recreation opportunities for people living with physical, emotional, psychological and behavioral challenges.
“Along with the excitement of opening a new restaurant, we are extremely pleased to support the National Sports Center for the Disabled,” said Alon Mor, Garbanzo founder. “This exceptional organization helps change the lives of citizens in Colorado and nationwide living with various disabilities, and we are thrilled to be a part of their efforts.”
On the University Hills restaurant’s opening day, Garbanzo guests can participate in several activities and giveaways.
Garbanzo offers guests a variety of Mediterranean menu items such as pita, laffas, falafel, shwarma, hummus, seasoned rice, sauces and dressings.
