Freshii sets its sights on Germany

Freshii has signed its first franchise deal in Germany, expanding on its existing presence in Europe which currently includes six units open in Stockholm, Vienna and Zurich.

According to a news release, the newest franchisee, EA Welt GmbH, has signed on to open the first location in the state of Bad-Wurttemburg, Germany, and will be evaluating real estate for the first site in Stuttgart.

EA Welt GmbH plans to open its first location by the end of 2014 with plans to open multiple locations in 2015.

Freshii is opening on average 1.2 stores per week and expanding its global footprint with the help of franchise development partner Fransmart. A total of 60 new openings are projected for 2014, the release said.
