Freshii founder and CEO Matthew Corrin wore a disguise and went undercover in his own Canadian franchises to learn about his employees' dedication to the brand.
In an episode of "Undercover Boss Canada," airing at 9 p.m. EST, March 7 on W Network, Corrin dons a fat suit and checks in on his employees working in the chain, known for its healthy cuisine.
"Going undercover was a unique opportunity for me to work alongside Freshii employees. It allowed me to experience, first hand, their commitment to customer service and also to uncover where improvements can be made to maximize efficiency," said Corrin, the youngest CEO to go undercover on the show. "'Undercover Boss' was such a great experience that I purchased my disguise and use it to check in on other stores around the world as I travel. It makes for a bit of extra luggage — especially the fat suit — but the insight continues to be invaluable. I would recommend all CEOs consider this action."
Corrin and his Freshii leadership team will take the insights gained from the experience on the show and implement them into effective companywide initiatives, he said.
Each week, "Undercover Boss Canada" follows a different executive as he leaves the comfort of his corner office for an undercover mission to examine the inner workings of the company.
