fresh&co farm effort benefits customers, NY culinary school

August 2, 2017

New York-based fresh&co bought a 35-acre farm, renamed it fresh&co farms, and is growing a variety of produce, poultry and pork for its NYC locations, according to a press release.

The farm also raises Kiko meat and dairy goats, along with chickens, pigs, apples and vegetables. It will also benefit NYC's only public culinary high school, Food and Finance High School, through the Tenedios Family Scholarship Fund.

Fresh&co will continue its partnerships with local farms and suppliers, including Plainville Farms, Hepworth Farms, Red Jacket Orchards, Satur Farms, New York City's Beecher's Handmade Cheese, and more, according to the release.
