FreshBerry to open at two Oklahoma universities

October 21, 2009

Beautiful Brands International has announced it has signed two franchise agreements to open FreshBerry frozen yogurt cafés on or near the campuses of the University of Oklahoma in Norman and Oklahoma State University in Stillwater. The new stores are slated to open in the spring of 2010.

"I can't tell you how incredible it is for FreshBerry to be near two great campuses like this," said David Rutkauskas, founder president and CEO of BBI. "I believe the people in Norman and Stillwater, whether they're students, faculty, or just people who live in that area, are going to absolutely fall in love with the creamy, craveable taste of FreshBerry. I look forward to being involved with these communities for many years to come."

The FreshBerry concept was created by Rutkauskas and his wife Camille. The first store opened in January 2008 in Tulsa, Okla., and today there are six FreshBerry cafés open and more than 255 units in development across Oklahoma, Texas, South Carolina, North Carolina, California, Arizona, New York, Nevada, Florida, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan and Egypt.
