FreshBerry to cool off hot markets

Consumers in Florida, Portugal and Venezuela will have access to FreshBerry frozen yogurt through a multiunit development deal destined to bring up to 100 locations throughout the regions.  

Beautiful Brands International has signed a deal with Erasmo da Silva and Keiny Gudiño to open nearly 100 FreshBerry Frozen Yogurt Cafés in Venezuela, Portugal and Florida. The first two stores are slated to open in the first quarter of 2011 in Caracas, Venezuela, and Miami.

"We're thrilled to work with visionaries like Keiny and Erasmo who see the incredible potential of the FreshBerry brand," said David Rutkauskas, Beautiful Brands founder, president and CEO. "There's no question our master franchisee is the catalyst of our worldwide growth and the reason we're seeing our stores develop at a rapid pace. FreshBerry's menu consists of 100 percent all-natural frozen yogurt with toppings ranging from strawberry, blueberry, raspberry fruits to Fruity Pebbles cereal, granola, toasted almonds, coconut and chocolate chips. FreshBerry also features a smoothie bar, yogurt by the pint or quart and FreshPops.

"These new openings reinforce the vision we have for our brand globally," Rutkauskas said. "Our goal is to spur our growth in new regions of the world, and bring the taste of FreshBerry to frozen yogurt lovers everywhere."
