Freebirds to open in League City, Texas

FREEBIRDS World Burrito will open inLeague City, Texas, on Dec. 14, marking its 42nd restaurant. Local resident and restaurant veteranChris Keywill manage the new FREEBIRDS restaurant and will employ approximately 50 team members from the community.  

In the days leading up to the opening, the company's chairtable arm, FREEBIRDS World Works, will conduct several pre-opening events. OnDec. 12,FREEBIRDS will partner with Bay Area Habitat For Humanityfrom11 a.m.–1 p.m.and again from5-7 p.m. The first 500 guests during both time slots will receive complimentary food and drinks in exchange for a$5donation to Bay Area Habitat For Humanity.  

Meanwhile, on Dec. 13,FREEBIRDS will partner with Bay Area Meals on Wheels and will offer 250 guests who donate $5to Bay Area Meals on Wheelscomplimentary food and drinks at the new location from 11 a.m.–1 p.m.
