FREEBIRDS continues on expansion track

FREEBIRDS World Burrito continues to blaze new expansion trails with the opening of two locations in Texas, bringing the system-wide total of restaurants to 54.

The two new FREEBIRDS are located in Jefferson County with the first opening Aug. 15, and the second to open in Nederland on Aug. 17. To celebrate the openings, FREEBIRDS will give the first 25 guests in line free burritos for a year.

Each FREEBIRDS restaurant features its signature Statue of Liberty – affectionately known as 'Libby' – riding a custom-built motorcycle breaking through the Freedom Wall.

In July, the company announced the opening of two restaurants in the Dallas/Fort Worth region. Earlier this year, the concept opened its first location on the campus of USC and announced its further expansion into California through its commitment to open 16 locations there.
