Franchisee invests $125k into Costa Rican Quiznos unit

A Quiznos unit in Liberia, Costa Rica, has received $175,000 from a multi-unit Quiznos franchisee — QZCR S.A.— which  also owns and operates other concepts in Costa Rica, according to a company press release.

"There has been a huge demand from Liberian consumers asking for a second Quiznos location in addition to the current restaurant located on the secure side of the Liberia Airport terminal; one which would afford them easier access," Juan Carlos Rodríguez, marketing manager for QSR International, said in the release.  

Quiznos has 31 units in Costa Rica, and its newest addition is in a heavily trafficked area frequented by both locals and tourists, according to the release.

"With the second Quiznos location in Liberia, we have another opportunity to offer our superior product, quality, and service to customers,” Marcello Tapia, regional commercial director for QSR International.
