The Revel Systems cloud-based POS and business management platform is in play across more than 1,300 Focus Brand franchise locations, which includes Auntie Anne's, Carvel and Cinnabon stores.
The iPad POS technology deployment is touted as one of the largest of its kind, and is improving efficiencies for the stores, according to a press release.
The Revel platform streamlines performance of multi-location businesses and lets brands access tools needed for scale and growth. For Focus Brands, it's providing a more efficient management of franchise operations, both centrally and on the local franchise level, according to the release.
"We are impressed by how positively Revel Enterprise has impacted our franchise locations. The ability to now easily manage multiple locations from anywhere, as well as the platform's cost effectiveness, are significant," said Michael Verdesca, Focus Brands CIO, in the release. "The data we're pulling is now real-time and actionable, enabling us and our franchisees to make decisions with a definitive impact. The modern architecture and open platform also future proofs our businesses."
Working with the Focus Brands project team, Revel provided virtual and onsite professional services teams to manage the implementation and ensure a successful rollout over a 6-month period.
