Five Guys selects GoMobo for online, mobile ordering solution

Five Guys has announced its selection of GoMobo Takeout as the restaurant chain's exclusive online and mobile ordering provider for more than 600 nationwide locations. GoMobo's platform will allow Five Guys customers to order and pay ahead from their computeror mobile phone (gofiveguys.mobi) and schedule a time for express pickup at the location of their choice. Customers also can order and pay by text message by saving their favorite orders at www.fiveguys.com, linking their mobile phone, and texting 'MENU' to 466626. The deal represents the first-ever national deployment of Radiant RPOS-integrated point-of-sale system, putting the point-of-sale onto consumers' laptops and mobile phones. GoMobo and Five Guys plan to roll out a Micros-integrated point-of-sale system later this year.             "Five Guys is excited to be partnering with GoMobo: the clear industry leader in online ordering and mobile ordering" said Steve Teller, project manager for Five Guys Enterprises. "With a remote ordering system that is fully integrated with our point of sale vendors, we can provide a streamlined and easily managed online ordering solution to our customers and franchisees." Five Guys estimates it will expand to between 700 and 800 nationwide locations by the end of 2010.
