First fast casual launches in UAE

Gulf News (Dubai): Al Islami Foods, provider of halal food products, launched the United Arab Emirates' first fast-casual restaurant chain, Al Farooj Fresh.

In collaboration with the Mohammad Bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders, Al Farooj will offer wrap sandwiches. The company plans to expand the chain into the Middle East and other markets.
