Firehouse Subs ranked on the Florida Private 200 list

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — FloridaTrend magazine ranked Firehouse Subs on its annual Florida Private 200 list for 2006.

 

Firehouse Subs is one of 28 newcomers ranked on the Florida Private 200 lists, which include other notable companies such as Publix Super Markets Inc., Burger King Corp. and NASCAR. The Jacksonville-based business has grown from two brothers and former firemen with a single store to 231 locations employing more than 3,500 people in 11 Southern states. 

 

The FloridaPrivate 200 rankings were announced in the May issue of Florida Trend, a monthly business magazine that focuses on Florida and its business growth.  The list, made up of top ranked, privately owned businesses in Florida, is compiled based on individual business revenue and reflects Florida's diverse economy.
