Based on consumer demand, Firehouse Subs has announced the national launch of its King's Hawaiian Pork & Slaw sandwich. The sandwich will be available for a limited time at all 515 Firehouse Subs locations.
Upon its initial offering, the sandwich exceeded sales records in Jacksonville, Fla., Greenville/Spartanburg, S.C., and Phoenix, Ariz.
The King's Hawaiian Pork & Slaw combines hardwood smoked pork and Sargento pepper jack cheese, steamed and then topped with homemade Hawaiian coleslaw piled on a King's Hawaiian Original Hawaiian Sweet sandwich bun.
To further appeal to customers, Firehouse Subs is launching a video contest July 3 that will give guests the chance to win a trip for two to the Hilton Waikoloa Village on the Big Island of Hawaii. The winners will be chosen by Firehouse Subs founders Chris Sorensen and Robin Sorensen
