Firehouse Subs, King's Hawaiian partner on Pork & Slaw sandwich

December 12, 2011

Firehouse Subs has partnered with King's Hawaiian sweet bread producer to offer the King's Hawaiian Pork & Slaw sandwich at all Firehouse Subs locations in the greater Jacksonville, Fla., Greenville/Spartanburg, S.C., and Phoenix, Ariz., markets.

It is the first restaurant-chain partnership for King's Hawaiian.

The sandwich, available through March 4, combines hardwood smoked pork and Sargento pepper jack cheese, topped with homemade tangy Hawaiian coleslaw piled on a King's Hawaiian sweet sandwich bun.

"Both of our brands are known for the highest quality," said Firehouse Subs co-founder Robin Sorensen. "It's a natural partnership between America's favorite sub and its favorite sweet bread."

Firehouse Subs has 470 locations throughout the U.S.
