June 29, 2016

Fired Pie, the Arizona-based pizza concept, has hired Abby Anderson as chief financial officer. Anderson joins the team with an extensive history of financial management positions with companies, including Athletes Performance Inc, Oreganos Pizza Bistro Inc, and P.F. Chang's China Bistro Inc, according to a company press release.

Previously, Anderson worked in roles requiring financial planning and analysis, profit-and-loss leadership, and mergers and acquisitions. Further, Anderson's experience with mergers led to integration of operations for acquired companies as well as maintaining and organizing financial operations post-merger, according to the release. Anderson will be constructing a financial infrastructure for Fired Pizza and managing strategies as the company continues to grow.

"It's an exciting team to be a part of…[As] Fired Pie continues to expand and show great success in Arizona," stated Anderson.

Fired Pie is also introducing a new board member, Frederick Wolfe, who was COO of California Pizza Kitchen and RealMex Restaurants. He also has operational experience with The Metropolitan Opera in New York, The Los Angeles County Museum of Art and The Segerstom Center. Most recently, Wolfe launched his own company, Fred Wolfe consultants, to offer in-depth reviews for restaurateurs, according to the release.

"It’s a real honor to sit on the board for this locally owned company…[that] is only going to continue to grow," Wolfe said

Fired Pie has 15 operations and plans to open three later this year.
