Fazoli’s woos older customers with bridge promotion

June 5, 2014

Fazoli’s is celebrating its senior customers by offering a free Italian Lemon Ice to members of the American Contract Bridge League every Wednesday in June from 2-5 p.m. The offer is good with the purchase of any entrée.

According to a news release, the ACBL is the nation's largest bridge league representing more than 167,000 members and 3,200 clubs in the U.S. To take advantage of the offer, customers simply need to state that they are there to play bridge. Fazoli’s has also invited them to stay and play a social game of bridge at the restaurants.

"We have the perfect environment for bridge players, with a relaxing dining area that's great for both a sit-down meal and a game of bridge," VP of Marketing Jon Quinn said in the release. "And with free unlimited breadsticks and our special June offer, Fazoli's may become the favorite hangout for bridge players."

Recently, Fazoli's rolled out a special program for all of its senior guests, called Club 62. It allows seniors age 62 or over to pay $4 on Wednesdays for any Club 62 Menu item. In addition, small drinks on any day of the week are $1. Seniors can take advantage of these discounts by obtaining a Club 62 card, which is available at participating Fazoli's locations.
